Lil Frosh Arraigned And Remanded in Prison For Beating Up Girlfriend
Nigerian record artist, Lil Frosh, was accused of assaulting his girlfriend and sentenced to prison for alleged assault. For assaulting his fiancée, Okeoghene Taiye Iyometerie last year, the Lagos State Branch of the International Women’s Federation (FIDA) was reportedly involved in the case and Lil Frosh was sued yesterday.
Punishable under Section 173 of the Lagos State Criminal Code 2015 The matter was postponed to March 9, 2021 for mention, while the Court ordered the custody of the accused and advised him to file a bail application. Mrs Barrister Chinwe Efobi in a chat with Barrister Nigeria said;
This she said “We have waited for this arraignment for long and we have been able to surmount all the obstacles. This has further reinforced our belief that no one is above the law. FIDA will always see to it that justice is done at all times”

It may be recalled that Lil Frosh’s contract with Davido Music Worldwide was terminated on October 6, 2020 after news of his domestic violence case involving his girlfriend went viral online.
