IPT (Isabelle) – Aquarian Mixtape is officially released on December 10, on all streaming platforms
IPT (Isabelle) is a multi-instrumentalist based in London, United Kingdom. She was trained as a classical musician in her early years, playing violin, flute, and piano. Her debut solo album, ‘Aquarian Mixtape,’ is out now.
Isabelle’s bass and guitar compositions take on a foreign viewpoint, reflecting her heavy and varied musical influences. Isabelle now plays bass for Michy Tree and has also worked with Leviathan Owl, Khaos Light, and Owl Shed Studios, spanning metal, prog, rap, and post-rock genres.
The multi-project, instrumentalist’s which she debuted on the tenth day of December this year, takes the minimal and minute from both ambient soundscapes to a larger and electronic one beyond conception.

Her multi-instrumental song, combined with her experience and her continuing participation in a variety of projects, shines through in her current endeavour. Despite the album’s stylistic diversity, the whole concept tries to evoke a consistent sense of place, first inspired by the sensation of a long, hot summer day descending to nightfall.
Isabelle’s most recent mixtape was almost entirely recorded in her room during the 2021 pandemic lockdown. As an escape from being imprisoned inside, Isabelle’s EP was intended to be an investigation of the varied sounds that could be generated utilising the limited instruments and materials accessible to her during lockdown. Instrumental music is represented on the mixtape.
