Oliver Say Finally Releases ‘Lest It Feel Sore’ EP
Almost immediately as an independent craftsman, Oliver Say was offered a record deal with Island Records and a management deal with Black Books. He turned them both down and on second thought had a spot at Falmouth University to contemplate and foster his craft through experience.
During his time there he kept on composition, yet invested most of his energy as drummer and sponsorship performer of a 7-piece post-musical gang called Shipping Forecast. Close by this, he worked together with Catz ‘N’ Dogs and Engine Earz Experiment too delivering a performance single with his first music video.
Since University, Oliver has been living and working between the Black Country and London as a climbing teacher, composing and refining his work for a re-visitation of delivering as an independent craftsman. His presentation single was delivered in July 2020 – a traditionally propelled guitar song called ‘Am I Always So Wrong?’ Since its delivery, Oliver has composed and recorded all through the lockdowns, self-creating his introduction EP – Lest It Feel Sore EP.
Oliver’s “Lest it Feel Sore EP”, basically, is revolved around weakness relating to both the individual and the overall individual. The tracklist is relied upon to be a straight trip, beginning with a sensation of unhinged self-shortcoming, and choosing the line ‘in the long run, there can be agreement’ to give a happy end. The EP goes out on Full Power Records in the autumn.
