Polemics’ latest EP, ‘The Sesh,’ is a collection of four tracks published by the pair for your listening pleasure. Hugo Bishop and Polemics recorded and engineered this EP in Briston, while James Trevascus mixed it and Pete Bucksley provided extra synthesisers. They are now working on the video for ‘The Sesh,’ which will be released next year. On December 17th, 2021, ‘The Sesh’ Ep was fairly hyped.
Nathan Smith and Jeff Ingle are two Bristol, United Kingdom, high school pals. Both pals have a sense of and a love for music, thus they formally formed themselves as partners approximately two years ago. Nathan and Jeff are now known as Polemics, which is also the name of their band. They add words in their songs that are devoted and indignant, which fits with their songwriting approach. Though their fans and bloggers rank them with IDLES, Fugazi, and Primus, two of them name Mars Volta and Smashing Pumpkins as influences. Rafeal Martins, a new member of the band, is in charge of the duo’s low frequencies when they play.
Since their inception in 2019, the pair has been composing songs and bringing them to life creatively. When they released their latest debut EP, ‘Conflict,’ a live EP consisting of three tunes, they received positive feedback from bloggers, music heads, and radio stations all over the world. The pair on their agenda for next year is promoting their EP with a few of performances.
