Born in Salerno, an Italian City, Francesca was born and raised in a family who were passionate and committed to music. Francesca’s father who is also passionate about music exposed his daughter to different kinds of music genres which include soul and classical music. Francesca kicked off with song-writing on the piano from a very early age. She was about 14 years old at that time. When Francesca was about 17 years old, she had an alliance with renowned music icon Buddy Miles, a member of Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsies and an American drummer and producer in Dallas. Pushing further to become a great music icon as she dreams of, Francesca in 2014 made it to the finales of ‘The Voice of Italy’ and ‘X Factor 8 Italy’. As a way of celebrating her success in these two competitions, she came out with her first ever single “Domenica” with Sony music which followed with a music video and had a massive view on YouTube. Currently living in London, United Kingdom Francesca Monte is a singer, songwriter, and producer.
This new single was released on December 17th, 2021. She called it ‘All Day All Night’ and was produced by Kevan and Daniel Baiolla and written by Francesca herself and paved the way for her to have a collaboration with Pasquale De Lise, an emerging talented fashion designer, who was able to represent the evolution and change expressed in the lyrics. In the song, Francesca exposes her soul and unguardedly talks about love and change by making them the base of the song. She did not hold her feelings when writing this song but expressed them to let society feel what she has at heart. She makes the song so touching when you listen and hear what she is highlighting on with the melody of the guitar the song carries. Importantly, the topic of love and change in the song is all around.
Symbolically, love is an idea that could be proceeded from Heaven to Hell. This is because it becomes a bit hard to choose sides when you are in love since it is unjustifiable and judicious and thus described that, “Love is a mystery, it is a fire that calms our misery”. From the song, Francesca makes it clear with her lyrics we are better off at loving someone at their good or worse when we do put not our current state of being into our feelings.
