“My name is Lucifer and Christmas is my least favorite time of the year”, says Dale in his new Christmas song.
The Glasgow based firefighter and artist in the United Kingdom named Dale surprises his audience with a new Christmas song he released on 1st December this year. The song coming with an unusual title, ‘Lucifer’s Christmas’ is an indie-folk charity single letting his audience and other listeners of the new song realize that Christmas days do not come in favor of everyone at its time of the year.
In the song, the singer-songwriter shares with his listeners a foreign frame of reference about Christmas we have no idea about. The singer-songwriter travels over Lucifer’s Christmas journey in his creative way. He composes the song with fun loving lyrics that probably makes you have a joyous Christmas.
Describing how Lucifer enjoys his holidays, Dale expresses himself with lyrics in his song saying, “My name is Lucifer and Christmas is my least favorite time of year / Cause there’s no reindeer there’s no snow, there’s no kisses under mistletoe, there’s just me eating my dinner on my own and no one shares Christmas dinner with a sinner” He simply tells the lonely life of Lucifer during Christmas holidays.
He began the song with a few melodic bells and an organ that introduces his raw vocals over a lively progression and blends it with happy chords and sad lyrics.
Dale also featured on the song a delicate bridge where he sings about his hopes and desires for Christmas holidays. ‘Lucifer’s Christmas’ ends on a high note with a familiar instrumental riff and a few strong drum hits.
