“Winning the War” blew us away with its endless highs, You’ll get the sense as soon as you press play button. thanks to the lively orchestration and, of course, those silky smooth vocals. With so much more music on the horizon, including a new album called Anybody Can Do Anything, we think it’s time to jump on the Escape Ring bandwagon before they become huge. We were also left with a strong sense of hope and the ability to go on into a whole new year.

The song’s backdrop is about “the fight we all have from time to time defeating the voices in our own heads keeping us back from whatever it is we secretly know we should be doing,” according to lead songwriter Darren Moss. Taking vocal influence from Rivers Cuomo of Weezer, we still believe there’s a lot of uniqueness and vibrance coming through that can be directly credited to the band’s abilities.
Escape Ring writes songs that seem like they’re continuing the tradition of classic rock, but with modern sonics. Escape Ring will release their debut song “Winning The War” on December 10th, 2021, following placements in NBC’s The Biggest Loser.
