7000apart, an international duo, has released “Player 2,” the anticipated second track from their crowdfunded album Feel Your Feelings. The passionate vocals and lyrics in this video game-inspired ballad will tug at your emotions. The duo’s song “Blank Check” was recently featured on MTV’s The Hills: New Beginnings, and they are presently working on their new album, Feel Your Feelings, with GRAMMY-winning Nashville producer FEMKE.
Amelie Eiding and Jon Kresin are the heart of 7000apart, described by the Green Bay Press-Gazette as “a husband-wife pop duet with a high school love story, compelling personality, and an international fanbase.” Their story began in 2012, when Amelie moved from Stockholm, Sweden, to Green Bay, Wisconsin, to attend high school as an exchange student. She met Jon there, and their young love flourished. When she returned to Sweden, the couple embarked on a creative endeavour dubbed 7000apart, a reference to their 7,000-kilometer separation. The pair reunited and married in 2016 after three years of managing the challenges of a long-distance relationship and numerous cross-continental visits.

7000apart became a serious artistic undertaking at this point. The music of Amelie and Jon transcends their relationship. Mental health awareness is one of their pillars of songwriting, and their lyrics frequently touch on personal issues while conveying a universal message.
7000apart published their debut album We Are More in 2019, which has received over 130,000 streams and has been added to over 1,300 Spotify playlists. Amelie and Jon were also featured on Sweden’s Got Talent in 2020, performing their own song “Until I Found You.” This opportunity led to a partnership with mental health non-profit Suicide Zero on the song “Hör av dig (Reach Out),” which garnered them a WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) for New Artist of the Year.
The duo gained even more fame in 2021, with their song “Blank Check” airing on MTV’s The Hills: New Beginnings and earning “Rocknallen,” an award given out by Björn Skifs of the band Blue Swede.
The couple is presently working on their sophomore album, Feel Your Feelings, with GRAMMY-winning Nashville producer and composer FEMKE. The project is a dynamic trip through the highs and lows they’ve encountered along the way, emphasising the need of self-care and embracing creative expression.
