Heaven Can Wait, the first single from The Parlophonics’ next album, was released on May 13th. Through a sparkling series of compulsively addictive hooks on show from the music to the microphone, “Heaven Can Wait” reveals The Parlophonics’ masterfully produced Pop/Rock sound. Denny Seiwell (Billy Joel, Wings) lends his famed drumming skills to the song.
The Parlophonics immediately returned to the studio to write new music after their album A Day in The Life’s release and widespread acclaim last year, as well as the momentum they have been gaining since then. After several months of labour, they produced “Heaven Can Wait,” a single that immediately demonstrates the depth of the band’s compositional abilities. However, one needs to assemble an all-star cast to pull off a single of this strength. Denny Seiwell of Billy Joel and Wings fame plays drums on “Heaven Can Wait,” showcasing his prowess.

The endearing track “Heaven Can Wait” plays with pop music tradition and innovates with it. All of their guitars have a lighthearted interaction with the vocals. They congratulate one another as though they were conversing. In order to induce a zen-like condition in the listener and create an exciting atmosphere, the vocal harmonies rely on making the listener feel delicious. The voices are singing a metaphysical meditation on time and the future throughout.
