Tom Brady throws trophy across water as Tampa Bay Buccaneers celebrate Super Bowl success
Throwing one of the world’s most famous trophies by the water would be too risky for most of us – but not if you’re an NFL GOAT.
The big quarterback Tom Brady celebrated his record-breaking Super Bowl seventh success by throwing the Vince Lombardi Trophy from boat to boat at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Victory Boat Parade along the Hillsborough River.
Brady’s daughter Vivi clearly did not believe in her father’s throwing abilities, as she could hear the screams of “Daddy, no!” when he was preparing to throw the trophy.

Luckily for the Bradys and possibly some nervous NFL managers, teammate Cameron Brate was able to catch the catch.
Was there ever any doubt?

“That was the best catch of my life,” Brate told the Tampa Bay Times. “Unbelievable. If I had dropped that? I think I would’ve had to retire.”
Yes thousands of fans were lined the Hillsborough River to attend the celebrations, and most respected Mayor Jane Castor’s request to wear masks and keep social distancing to limit the spread of Covid-19.
Boats joining the parade were also asked to keep at least 50 feet from ships carrying players and other franchise members due to the pandemic.
Tampa Bay defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 at their home stadium on Sunday to win the Super Bowl a second time.
They were inspired by the legendary Brady, who at 43 years and 188 days old became the oldest player to play in America’s biggest game and increased his Super Bowl performance record to 10.
